Hi Guru,
I am using a sun box ultra 10. (solaris 8)
I am trying to configure 1 interface...
#ifconfig hme0 down
#ifconfig hme0 ip_address netmask netmask up
Make the entry in /etc/hosts, /etc/netmasks, /etc/nodename
,/etc/hostname.hme0 file also..
After that when I am want to veiw that stast to ifconfig -a then it is shows
up..
But after rebooting some error msg is coming..(bad configure hme0) & it
shows the ip address of hme0 is 0.0.0.0...and mechine is not coming up...
If I am not rebooting the machine (only press cntl+D) then machine come
up...
Any help, is of course appriciated.
Is there any limitetion for a group to hold the user-id...I want to mean
that 1 user only belongs to 15 additional group..is there any limition for
group like the max user can belong the same group?
