is there any way to make two HBA paths like one path for tape drives

Hi,

I have sun box (SF V440) with solaris 8. It uses two sun storedge HBAs for access to the
tape library. The system sees the tape library from two paths. The tape library has 6 drives.
The system sees those 6 drives and changer from the one HBA. The system also sees
the same drives and changer from the other HBA. Is there any way to make these two HBAs paths the one. For the disk
drives, it is possible with power path, traffic manager, secure path or etc.
I would like to know whether there is any way to do that for tape drives.

The system will see the one path for those HBAs and so, veritas netbackup or legato will use the one path.
However, on the background, if the one path is lost, the applicatin can go on the operation.

Does it make sense???
