Boot load failed : The file just loaded does not appear to be executable

Hi

Can anyone assist in resolving the above...

I have tried the following:

boot cdrom -s (solaris 8 installation CD)

fsck /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0

mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 /mnt

installboot /usr/platform/'uname -i' /lib/fs/ufs/bootblk
/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0

umount /mnt

fsck /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0

init6

Still the above error persists

Any assistance appreciated
