Rediscover disk size and geometry.

Hello all. I've just finished resizing an EMC symmetrix meta device on a
Solaris server.
This appears to have been entirely successful. However I've just hit the
difficult part - how to get
Solaris to 'notice' that the disk has changed in size. Ideally I'd like to
do this without having to do
a reconfiguration boot (since you don't have to reboot in Windows 2000 with
the same process).

Can anyone suggest how I might get Solaris to 'rediscover' a disk fsck,
remounting, format and devfsadm
don't seem to do the trick. (since the disk is still there, with the same
partition table, it's just physically a little larger)

Cheers,
Ed.
