Anyone have experienced problems with SUNWged Sun Gigabit ethernet adapter
Driver 3.0. SUN have a patch which did not fix it.
Solaris 8, 108528-27 installed patch 108813-17, not sure if 117000-05 can
really help.
Noticing lot of ierrors and drops for ge interfaces, due to which backups
are failing.
Auto-negotiate is not working fine, link lights are up and down
sporadically. Could this be due to link partner which is a cisco 4006, where
autonegotiate is default(?).
Per SUN's best practice, not planning to use force mode for all including
flow control. Not sure if the fible cables are bad. Swapped them with other
gigabit interfaces.
