hi
I'm relatively new to disksuite/volume manager what
ever you want to call it on solaris 8. I've mirrored
two partitions and i was experimenting removing one
disk to see what happens. I have two metadb replicas
on each of the disks, one root disk, one disk mirror
partition only. So i remove the mirror partition disk
and it gives me errors about not enough replicas. From
my reading i though 2 on each was enough for it to
continue working ? it comes up unknown for the 2
replicas on the removed disk. So its not uninterupted
service ? i was hoping it'd come all the way back up ?
am i thinking wrong ? thanks
