Hi All,

I am having some issues writing a flash archive to tape :

Tape is:
#mt status
Vendor 'COMPAQ ' Product 'DLT8000 ' tape drive:
sense key(0x0)= No Additional Sense residual= 0 retries= 0
file no= 0 block no= 0

OS is:
SunOS <system> 5.9 Generic_112233-12 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V240

Flar command is:
#flarcreate -n <system> -t /dev/rmt/0
WARNING: hash generation disabled when using tape (-t)
Full Flash
Checking integrity...

The archive will be approximately 5.41GB.

/var/adm/messages says:
Aug 27 10:59:37 <system> scsi: [ID 107833 kern.warning] WARNING:
/pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1/st@6,0 (st13):
Aug 27 10:59:37 <system> write: not modulo 2 device granularity

I probably need to use the position -p and blocksize options -b

Anyone seen this before.

Kind Regards,

Rob
