Good afternoon,
I want to configure the boot image of my install server to make Sun Blade 1500 install clients boot with the bge interface set to 100Mbps full duplex.
The following entries have been added to /JumpStart/install/Solaris_8/Tools/Boot/platform/sun4u/kernel/drv/bge.conf :
adv_1000fdx_cap=0;
adv_1000hdx_cap=0;
adv_100fdx_cap=1;
adv_100hdx_cap=0;
adv_10fdx_cap=0;
adv_10hdx_cap=0;
adv_autoneg_cap=0;
When I boot a Sun Blade 1500 with these parameters in /platform/sun4u/kernel/drv/bge.conf it comes up with its bge interface set to 100Mbps full duplex. However, when I do a "boot net - install" on an install client I get the following message: 100 Mbps HDX Link up
Is there something which I may have overlooked?
