RE: Slow telnet response - update

OK... I'm getting it... Apparently they worked OK before as Solaris 8,
but now they are Solaris 9, it doesn't. The end user is telnetting from
a laptop within a workgroup, so no WINS, Windows DDNS, etc. Is there a
way to disable the RDNS lookup? The end user is transitioning to ssh
but has a few shell scripts that are no longer functioning.

Thanks in advance,

David
