Hi,
First posting, so hello I'm Matt!
On to the meat of the mail.... I picked up a netra x1 for 45 bucks on
e-bay. It claimed to have a bad powersupply (sweet deal). Except, the
power supply is fine. The problem according to LOM is an overheat
sensor. When I poweron the device it complains of overheat, and then
immediately is forced into standby mode. From which I can do nothing.
I can't tell it to ignore the overheat, and I can't seem to find the
sensor.
Underside of the Board : NOTHING Under the board (cept one IC in
the middle of nowhere)
Heat Sink / Fan : Has a third wire coming off it... but i think thats
fan control. I see nothing that indicates it has any temperature
capabilities.
Power supply : Why there would be an over heat sensor in the power
supply I have no idea. I have yet to crack this open due to difficulty
of task.
And on the motherboard... I have failed to locate it.
If someone could either ....
Gimme an idea for a possible solution...
Tell me where the heat sensor is...
Take a picture of a working X1's system board for comparison....
I would be much abliged. Thanks in advance.
