ftp issue

Hi Gurus,

I have an issue with running ftp for large files. I am initiating ftp to
pull data from within ssh (2.3.0 non-commercial version) session form
Solaris 8 box. If the file to be pulled is more than 700 MB my client
ssh session (from where I am initiating ftp to pull data) disappears
without any errors but this doesn't happen on all ssh sessions. Is there
any keepalive or other parameter settings we need to change?

Any help will be appreciated.
