Thanks for all of the replies.
I was completely wrong, and /proc is not part of the root partition.
I learned /proc partition is a memory map. It isnt real disk.
Do not touch anything there.

[demime 0.99c.7 removed an attachment of type image/bmp which had a name of ole0.bmp]
