Hi Everyone,
I've recently upgraded my NIS master from Solaris
8 to Solaris 9 and now the adminsuite server does not start. It fails
wit h the error

AdminSuite server was not started! Initial configuration error: An invalid or null property file directory path or file name was specified. Remove, then reinstall AdminSuite.

An invalid or null property file directory path or file name was specified. Remove, then reinstall AdminSuite.

The startup script (/etc/init.d/admsvr3_0) results in the following
invocation of java :

/usr/java/bin/java -mx32m
-Dadmin.server.properties=/etc/opt/SUNWseam/3_0/server
com.sun.admin.cis.server.AdminServerImpl

I would do as requested and resinstall the packages SUNWseamj SUNWseams
but I can't find them on the Solaris 9 installation (CD's or jumpstart
tree) and am a little stuck.

I've run in a 9_Recommended cluster from about a month ago when I upgraded.

Has anyone come across this before?

Bob
