Hello,
First I must admit this seems to be only a minor nuisance but I'd like
to resolve it anyway.
Upon boot, right after the line "Hardware watchdog enabled" has been
written, the V240 in question emits only LF instead of CR/LF at the
end of every line. The result looks as one would expect:
WARNING: forceload of misc/md_sp failed
Hardware watchdog enabled
configuring IPv4 interfaces: bge0.
Hostname: test6.belwue.de
The system is...
Since the Jumpstart bootsequence shows this behavior as well, I assume
this might not be a problem with the operating system.
Another v240 installed from the same Jumpstart Server gets this right
and sends CR/LF on every line. So far I have failed to locate any
difference between these two machines.
Anyone got any idea where to look?
