Swap usage

Hi - am after a few pointers / help on a server I provide admin for,
that over the weekend seems to have consumed most of its swap space?

Platform:
Sun E4500, 4GB RAM, 6GB SWAP.
Solaris 2.6 (105181-33)
Running an instance of Oracle 8i.

Server usually has about 5.5GB of swap free at any one time and about
100MB of memory free.

But this morning top is saying that 4.3GB of swap is in use and about
1.8GB is free. Memeory usuage has stayed the same.

I'm trying to figure out why this has happened and what has caused it
but not really come up with anything as yet. Output from a few commands
I could think are outlined below:

#swap -s
total: 6770480k bytes allocated + 55544k reserved = 6826024k used,
2655120k available

# swap -l
swapfile dev swaplo blocks free
/dev/vx/dsk/swapvol 158,5 16 4193664 1247232
/dev/vx/dsk/swapvol2 158,9 16 4194272 1238832
/dev/vx/dsk/swapvol3 158,10 16 4194272 1238608

Sorry if my request is a bit vague! Thanks for any help - Julian.
