my E420 doesn't see any local disks? Any idea?

Hi guru

My E420R does not see any local disks (x2) at all.
I swapped the 2 disks but it still doesn't see them.
It used to be working but now it isn't.
The system powers up, and it seems to pass POST ok.
It is an E420 with 4x450 cpu's and 4GB of memory.
The 2 disks are 36 GB disks, 10k rpm
It doesn't see the CDROM either. Does anybody know
what is wrong. Here is the output of the probe-scsi
command:

{0} ok probe-scsi-all
/pci@1f,4000/scsi@3,1

/pci@1f,4000/scsi@3

{0} ok

I already checked the SCSI cable and it is connected.
Could it be the bad system board or the bad 2-slot
SCSI backplane?

Any idea?
