Another site for downloading packages is ftp.patriots.net --I've been
e-mailing back and forth with Luc and he has compiled lots of useful
packages for Solaris 8 --both for Sparc and x86.
Some of the more popular packages are: (there's more)
- Apache 2.0.36
- Bind 9.2.1
- OpenSSH 3.2.3
- Qpopper 4.0.4
- Ip Filter 3.4.27
