How to attach to a running process

Greetings all,

I was debugging a perl script when my session was terminated. I use eXceed and
my PC crashed. I'm back in, and the process is still running. I would like to
know if I could reattach to that session. If I run ps -ef to see it, it says
it running on pts/3. If someone out there has a way for me to get that debug
session back on to a terminal so I don't have to start the process over again,
it would make my day.

Thanks all.

Regards,

Steve
