Sendmail Problem

Hi All

I am facing problem with Sendmail configured on
Solaris 8 OS.

Sun System has HP Openview and CISCO works 2000
network monitoring software installed/configured.
Users receive emails through sendmail about the status
of the network devices connected

Senamail, Mail queue builds up, but does not sends
email to the users.

And increases CPU utilization thus slows the system
performance too.

Sendmail Version - 8.11.6
OS - Solaris 8

Can anyone suggest the on the above please.
