I first want to thank everyone for the help with this problem.

I can now explain what happened and how we fixed it.

We are running a Sun 6800 with two domains. Each domain has two Sun
375-3108 X6768A (Qlogic QLA2342) dual port 2GB HBA cards in them. We were
running fine with the Brocade 2802 1GB switches. When we migrated to the
Brocade 12000 switches (which are 2GB), the 6800 started having problems.

After replacing one of the HBA cards in one domain, we noticed that the
errors were reduced. After a closer examination we theorized that the Sun
SAN (SUNWsan) software version we were running and the FCODE in the HBA
cards were not exactly firing on all cylinders with each other.

We decided to take a shot in the dark. We went to single user mode and
applied patch 114874-02 to upgrade the FCODE in the HBAs to 1.14.09. We
also uninstalled the SUNWsan package and reinstalled it.

After rebooting both domains, the problem was resolved.
