Looking for NIS/NIS+/NFS

Hi,

I have a linux NIS server (ypserv) and now I would like to move some Solaris 8/9/10 machines into that "structure". I would like to do this so that some developers can have access to their own NIS/NFS accounts on this machines.
I would also like to have this as secure as possible, but I suppose NIS+ is out of the question.
Anyway, I would appreciate any hints on how to set this up.
