Hello all,

On a V880 and the like, prtpicl -v -c temperature-sensor will give you
interesting info such as at what temperature your CPU will cease
functioning, such as:

<snip>
  | (53000004d7H) |
  :HighShutdownThreshold 100
  :HighWarningThreshold 95
  :LowShutdownThreshold -15
  :LowWarningThreshold -10
  :Temperature 56
  :FaultInformation NO_FAULT
  :State OK
  :_class temperature-sensor
  :name DAR8_DIE_TEMPERATURE_SENSOR
  DCS8_DIE_TEMPERATURE_SENSOR (temperature-sensor, 5300000356)
  :PSVC_PHYSICAL_DEVICE (530000127aTBL)
<snip>

On a SunFire6800 this command returns nothing. Anybody know how to find
out these thresholds on a 6800?

Thanks in advance,

Richard
