SunBlade 2500 running Solaris 8 with latest 8_recommended patches
gives in user's console window the following messages
Jul 15 20:01:04 aconcagua automountd[193]: server .DtDirDataType not
responding
Jul 15 20:02:39 aconcagua last message repeated 5 times
Users can log on and work except that every so often one of the jobs
will
get killed concurrently with such messages. It happens regardless of
whether users log in at the machine or remotely.
old Ultra 80 running Solaris 8 with the latest 8_Recommended patches
started giving the same error when the SunBlades were added
SunBlade 2500 model 1.28GHz, 2*1.28GHz UltraSparc IIIi Processors with
1MB
on-die L2 cache, Sun XVR-600 Graphics Accelerator, @GB DDR1 Memory
(2*1GB
DIMMS), 1*36GB 10Krpm SCSI Hard Disk.... Solaris 8 05/03 pre-installed
(Standard Configuration)
