hello all,
ive been trying to change the TCP MSS of my standard solaris 8 box. I
basically need to lower it to 1432 from 1460. I did the necessary changes
via ndd, which it accepts, however during the SYN/SYN-ACK tcp handshake, the
solaris box still announces 1460 instead of 1432.
The MSS change works ok with solaris 7 and 2.6, and the new MSS can be seen
in the SYN/SYN-ACK, but it seems not to work on solaris 8
Has anyone bumped into this and any ideas on what may be happening here ?
