SUMMARY: Enterprise 4500 Claims to be E4000

Thanks for all the responses!

My problem remains unsolved, but seems most likely to involve the
centerplane, which I can't replace.

Suggestions that I received:

1) replace the clock board (already done)
2) clock board is wrong part (checked, and correct)
3) too many CPU/memopry boards (not in this case)
4) bad I/O board (fine, checked)
5) bad centerplane (probably the problem)
