Hello,
I have a weird problem that has begun to manifest now that I've finished
configuring some new servers. On my serial connection to a SunFire v240 I
am noticing "Y"'s appear on the console (to me it seems like some sort of
noise). Over night, when I come back, I've noticed the server has dropped
in to the ok mode (upon which I have to issue a "boot" to get it back).
Is this a HW bug that you all have noticed? It some of my web-searching
there are some related comments having to do with turning the server key to
locked mode or upon shutting down the vt100 box it causes a <BR> in the
console, but I am curious what you all have encountered or know.
