CSW OpenLDAP starting with "Unrecognized database type (bdb)" error

Everyone,

I have installed the CSW OpenLDAP distro (and friends CSWbdb4, ossl,
sasl) on solaris 8 and I get the following error on the slapd startup:

"Unrecognized database type (bdb)"

My LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set as follows:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/local/lib:/opt/csw/lib:/opt/csw/openldap/lib"

According to the package maintainer dbd4 is statically linked to
slapd....

Anyone run into this before? I have had no luck googling on this
one...
