This might be a real simple one -
Have a file with following permissions on it -
-r--r--r-- 1 root other 0 Jul 8 11:28 ANJAN.pro
A java application uses this file. Problem is even though it is read
only for all, the application can write into it, which I want to
prevent.
When I 'vi' into it, it tells me it's read-only, as it is.
Java (jserv) is run as root. I restarted the application server, no
changes.
Thanks in advance,
Anjan
