Dear reader,
we have installed Solaris 8 2/02 x86 on our IBM Thinkpad A31p con-
taining an Intel Pro/100 VE ethernet card.
We are not able to communicate i.e. ping to a Force system (Sparc chip
set) under VxWorks until we are changing the MAC address of the Intel
card via ifconfig to another arbitrary address.
Very strange! Any ideas how to explain, correct this behavior?
