Blade 1500 Seagate 160GB

Hi,

I tried to install a Seagate 160GB hard disk in a Blade 1500 and the format
command only recognizes 510MB !!!!

I've read somewhere that for disks larger than 137GB the IDE controller needs a
48-bits LBA. I couldn't find the controller specification neither of the Blade
100 or Blade 1500 and I assume they're both of the 24-bits type.

Is that so? Are there any "tricks" to use the disk anyway?
