Hi, all

I have a Sun Enterprise 4000 with Solaris 2.6, 8, CPU,s and 6 GB of RAM,
1 I/O board with the graphics card, an SCSI SE card an a QFE card, the
problem is:

when I tried to configure an IP address on the QFE for the same segment
that the IP address configured on the hme interface, the QFE is down
until I down the hme0, if I configure an IP address of diferent segment
on the QFE I can have both interfaces up, but, if the addresses are from
the same segment, I have to put down one of the interfaces. This happen
no matter what port of the QFE I configure, or if I unplumb the hme
interface and work only with the QFE ports, one thing I,ve noticed is
this, when I type ifconfig -a the number in the "flags=XXXXXX' is the
same number for all interfaces (hme and qfe)

# ifconfig -a
lo0: flags=1000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 8232 index 1
        inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000
le0: flags=1000863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu
1500 index 2
        inet 192.168.1.48 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255
        ether 8:0:20:88:e0:64

I hope somebody could help me

TIA
