need help on vvm

 I am trying to add 2 new disks to databasedg but
Veritas is displaying the following error..
databasedg is already having 26 drives

  I can see the disks using format but Veritas can't
locate them.

$ vxdiskadd c1t1d5
  No Matching disks were returned.
$

any help will be appreciate...
