Hello Managers,
We are running Vertias Volume Manager on a Sun V880 which has
12 33.9GB Diskdrives.
We created two raid groups one for root file system
mirroring and the other for projects files system mirroring.
The projects
raid group was having 340GB space and contains 2 volumes.
one volume is 52GB
and the other is 152GB. And this raid groups is in RAID5.And both volumes are
UFS.
My problem is I am not able to grow both these volumes as the system
comes out with an error saying the specified size is more.And if I check
through vmsa window it says the free space available is 34.5GB.
What am I
missing?Why it is not allowing me to grow the file system?
Please advice.
