I have installed Solaris 8 and now our Oracle person
is trying to install 9ias and is having a few
problems. She has reported the problem to Oracle and
they apparently want to know what our default
character set is. I am clueless!! I know I chose a
setting during the install but have no idea exactly
what I picked, US English, but that of course isn't
good enough. I am sure there is a command to display
this information, or a file to check but even after I
have searched the archives and the web I still have no
idea. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
