Hi All,
We're using an Ultra 2 as a print server machine and it's hanging
intermittently (couple of times a week). The display becomes unreadable and
a reboot is necessary. When the machine has hung it won't ping, can't telnet
into it etc. so it's not a graphics problem. I'm just wondering what's the
best way of troubleshooting a problem like this e.g. what sequence to go
about troubleshooting - Memory, CPU, Mother-Board (in that order) perhaps? I
know this is an old machine and I can already see the "scrap it" emails but
if it can be fixed relatively easily (and cheaply) I'd like to try to fix
it.
