Issue with Cron

Hi Managers,

I've a userA who is able to add jobs to the cron but his cronjobs are not
executing:
A listing of crontab shows the below entry
$ crontab -l
39 18 * * * echo "This is a test for cron" > /home/userA/crontestfile1

I've checked the /home/userA/crontestfile1 file but there is no content in the
file.

Looking into /var/log/cron, I found the following entries

"! setuid failed (userA) Wed Jun 9 00:00:00 2004
userA 9819 c Wed Jun 9 00:00:00 2004 ts=9"

I was able to execute the same script with the other users on the server.I
checked the difference between the userA and other users but did not find
anything difference with reference to path, shell, group membership etc.The
same crontab entry is working for userA on another server.

I'd appreciate if you can please give me some pointers to what could be the
issue. Thank you in advance for your replies.

Regards,

Sudhakar
