Hi!
We are replacing NIS with kerberos/ldap here, and I'm facing some issues
when configuring Solaris 8 LDAP clients to use TLS encryption.
First off all, ldapclient appears to don't have options to support TLS at
all (btw, I have patch 108993-36 installed here). I tryied editing
ldap_client_file by hand, and adding:
NS_LDAP_TRANSPORT_SEC= NS_LDAP_SEC_TLS
But, when I start ldap_cachemgr, it says nothing about errors, but deletes
this line (ever changing the file version).
Does Solaris 8 supports LDAP w/ tls? Do I really need to install OpenLDAP
and PADL-stuff in order to use LDAP w/ TLS??
Tnks!
[]s!
