Repetitive Disk Access

We have a Solaris 9 404 Ultra-10-440 with a Symbios dual-channel SCSI card and
twin 73GB SCSI disks in a SVM mirror for data. The system disks are IDE and
also SVM mirrored. The machine has 768MB of RAM.

This machine seems to be working fine and needs to go live ASAP. One slight
problem I have with this machine is that there is a repetitive disk access,
about every two seconds. I can't find anything wrong and nothing shows up
in the system logs. Does anybody have any experience of something similar
that might help me pinpoint what's going on please?

Regards,

Nick
