Good afternoon all,

I hope for those of you that celebrate Memorial day you had a wonderful and
safe holiday weekend..

On a realistic topic, I am having a strange problem with a V880.

When I first boot up the machine, I get the following error at the OBP level
BEFORE the OK prompt appears.

"Couldn't read ID from FCAL Disk Backplane 0"
"Could not set SSC050 TX DIS bit"
Once the system is booted (Diskless) I can see and use the internal disks just
fine. I get no errors. HOWEVER... I was unable to use the "luxadm probe"
command it would error (Don't remember the error) however that went away with
no effort on my part.

Now, when I "init 0" the machine I get an error that says:

        "Unable to write SSC050 device"
        "Can't access LM75 device"

Has anyone seen this issue, and if so what was the fix???

Thanks in advance for all of your help.

I will summarize.

Glenn May
