Summary: ifconfig misreporting

From: ryan.worthington@westam.com
Date: Tue May 25 2004 - 15:00:30 EDT

The original problem I reported was that ifconfig stated netmasks as
fffffff0, however /etc/netmasks was configured at 255.255.255.240

The solution: I can't remember high school math, and fffffff0 *IS* 240.

Thank you everyone for pointing out my blindness.
