Jumpstart question

Has anybody tried jumpstarting to a SAN attached disk ? If yes, could you please give me some pointers.
I have managed to add the SAN 4.3 kit to the OS image on the install server and even modified the preinstall script to configure the fabric controllers. But suninstall does not seem to be able to see these fabric devices. It just shows the scsi drives.
(If I exit out of suninstall and run a "format" I can see all the fabric drives )
 
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
