ufsrestore balking on large file, will it continue ok?

Im on a solaris 8 box. It has not got the most recent patches but has had a
few. The machine is about a year old and would have had the most recent
recommended patches applied at install time.

Im doing a "ufsdump | ufsrestore" and got:
write error extracting inode 35143967, name
./DIRNAME/FILENAME
write: File too large

I am dumping from a ufs file system (and we are about 75% thru) to a veritas
fs (but still using ufsrestore). I dont believe anything special has been
done with respect to large files when making the ufs file system and
certain that nothing was done regarding when making the veritas file system
for large files.

ls -l DIRNAME/FILENAME gives
-rw-r----- 1 USER GROUP 16363163648 DIRNAME/FILENAME

There seems to be other files in the same dir that are also large.

Im reaching a critical point in a server change over and am seeking
assurance and ufsrestore will continue and only leave out the large files.
Ive done a "ls -ltrc" in the directory where the files should be landing
and nothing is newer then the attempt to write this file.

Im not seeing an increase in kilobytes used on the destination file system.

I suspect all is ok and ufsrestore is having a hard time with some more
large files. But I just havnt seen and progress and am getting scared.

Can anyone calm my fears?

TIA

BTW - I cant confirm via "df" an seeing number of files on each file system
as Im dumping parts of the files system and one dir we are leaving behind
contains a huge but unknown number of small files. I should be able to
check with a count some time.
