solaris 9 native ldap clients and 5.1 Sun ONE servers.
I'm showing enormous number of connections (30000+ ) in TIME_WAIT state
on the clients with remote address being that of ldap server.
I replicated this on 2 different sol9 machines that seem to have no
usability problems at all.
I can always find one extablished connection from ldap
client to ldap server and a few thousand ever incrementing TIME_WAIT state
connections for which I can't find an explanation for.
None of it shows up in lsof, I don't even think lsof can see anything that's
in TIME_WAIT.
has anyone run into the same kind of problem ?
