Help with DHCPMGR under Solaris 9

Hi,

I have a problem with dhcpmgr.
I have the same problem on both sparc and x86 running solaris 9.
I have applied the latest recommended patches and the J2SE recommended
patches.
I have successfully setup a DNS server (bind 9.2.3) and tested same
(nslookup dig).
When attempting to use dhcpmgr, DHCP selected, I get to setup for 3 and
select DNS (domain is already included).
A "pop-up" window that has a stop sign with text "Unable to manage
defined hosts table"
I tried using /etc/hosts under x86 but this failed to place the FQDN
into the tables.

I did the same procedure under sparc solaris 8 and all worked as
expected, no pop-up error messages, FQDN in tables,
DNS tables updated successfully.

Any help greatly appreciated and summarized.

Thanks in advance

Clive
