When testing my restoration procedures, using "ufsrestore", I removed
the /usr/bin catalogue and then restored it from my backup tapes. I used
the procedures given on page 595 of the "System Administration Guide,
Volume 1 -February 2000. The restoration took a long time to finish,
almost 3 hours. When I wanted to logon using the Desktop, it kept
returning to the Desktop, without logging to the system. I can logon to
the system using the command line mode.
What could have gone wrong and how can I resolve the problem?
