Hi All
I have a little problem with an E420R that Im accessing via a terminal
server (lightwave). OS is solaris 8 2/02, but I dont think that is
important.
1: somehow I manage to screw the console settings. Hitting ctrl-C seems to
give me a new prompt (like hitting a return) but I cant do anything else.
2: I was going to do a quick reboot to fix but when I send a break I get to
an "ok" prompt from which I can resume with "go" (amount other things). The
system was configured to halt on this signal, but someone has changed it I
cant see how to do a clean shutdown so I can reboot.
5 points if you can tell me how to get a working console without reboot, 2
points for getting the OS down with a sync of disks first.
