hi,
I have recently installed a SUN v880 server ,And i
have a sun storedge pci dual ultra 3 scsi card
installed.And a LTO 2 drive is connected to it.The
modinfo|grep qus lists that the scsi card driver is
installed.
When i try to run tar -cvf /dev/rmt/0 /home
after copying 6 to 7 files and show an error
tar :i/o error
The LTO drive is a new drive and i have cleaned the
drive with the cleaning tape,and i have used new set
of tapes still no luck.
your valuable suggestions are appreciated.
