Setting PATH variable

Dear managers,

I have

        PATH=/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:
        SUPATH=/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/ccs/bin

in my /etc/default/login on Solaris 9. When I log into the machine with
telnet I have /usr/ccs/bin in $PATH. When I log in with ssh I don't
have it. I don't understand why this should make any difference. On
another machine with Solaris 8 installed I don't have this problem. On
the other hand there might be differences in the configuration of the
two machines. Any ideas where to look?

Thanks!

Regards,

   Andreas
