Hi Guru's,
I have a problem with an entry in /etc/mnttab on a Solaris 8. I am using
automount to mount my home directory from the local /export/home.
Before umounting /export /home i ran lsof to see if there were any open
files referencing /export home.
I then umounted /export/home, but there was an automount entry in
/etc/mnttab that states:

/export/home/foo /home/foo lofs rw,suid,dev=800640
1022849100

I have run lsof again to see if any open files are still referencing
/export/home, but there are none.
When i try to remount /export/home i get the following error :

mount: /dev/dsk/c6t0d2s0 is already mounted, /export/home is busy,
or the allowable number of mount points has been exceeded

Is there any known way of editing /etc/mnttab to get rid of this entry?
when i do a df -k i get the following entry:

df: cannot statvfs /home/foo: I/O error

When i do an ls of the /home dir i can see the dir foo, but when i do an ls
-l i cannot.
Any help would be appreciated..
I will summerize

-Padraig
