Jumpstart / Flash install and network configuration problems

We use the flash install feature of jumpstart quite routinely, but I have
one minor problem (annoyance). When the system is installed from the flash
images the /etc/hosts, /etc/nsswitch.conf and /etc/resolv.conf files are
overwritten with defaults. The /etc/hosts file only contains and entry for
localhost. Also, the root password needs to be set at the end.

I would like to retain the information originally in the flash images and
not lay over these defaults. Is there a way to do this outside of some post
install script performing a group of copy / rc script creation to fix it on
the boot following the flash install?

Here are copies of my sysidcfg and profile for the system.
